Brittney, ready to leave corporate America behind and the degree she earned in Marketing (a field she never worked in), she took a big leap of faith. Entering cosmetology school at the age of 28, she didn’t have any experience doing hair but she knew that she had a great eye for how things should look aesthetically. As she progressed through cosmetology school, Brittney noticed that cutting and color came naturally to her and she really loved it. No matter where she was, you could always find her practicing on her mannequins because she understood that “practice makes perfect”. Her passion and drive could be sensed for this God-given talent she unmasked.
Throughout her career as a licensed Cosmetologist, Brittney has had the privilege of training under some of the best hairstylists in the industry. Fortunate to have gained a solid foundation, she continuously expands upon her knowledge to stay up to date with the latest looks and techniques. Known for her signature sunkissed balayage, braidless microlink extensions and long lasting silk press styling, clients love that she plays off their natural beauty to enhance their look. In her opinion, it takes more than skills to be successful in the hair industry, although it is very important, she often attributes her success to having an eye for balance, attention to detail and genuine appreciation for every woman that sits her my chair. No matter the service, clients have her undivided attention from start to finish because she enjoys every part of the process.
In 2020, she embarked on a new journey that she didn’t see coming, opening her own salon suite, B.Fazūr Beauty Bar. Brittney’s mission was to create a comfortable environment like no other for you to relax, have a little girl time, listen to songs you forgot you loved and have a glass of champagne while you enjoy your hairstyling experience; and based on client reviews, she has done just that.
And we all know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose – Romans 8:28.
